Shield of Tomorrow

Shield of Tomorrow is a new Alpha show that takes place in the Star Trek universe. It will use the new Star Trek Adventures RPG system by Modiphius, and features the voyage of the USS Sally Ride, an Intrepid-class starship, designed for deep space exploration and scientific discovery. The game is set in 2372 (Season 4 of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), 5 years after the devastating battle of Wolf 359 and during the rise of the Dominion threat.

Shield of Tomorrow is played every Friday at 4:00PM Pacific Time on Geek & Sundry's Twitch channel, Project Alpha. Episodes are re-broadcast multiple times over the following week. Video-on-demand episodes are available through subscriptions to Geek & Sundry on Twitch as well as Project Alpha and Youtube. Short clips from the broadcast are also available through Twitch.

Behind the Shield

Behind The Shield is the Shield of Tomorrow aftershow hosted by Sam de Leve. A cross between a Star Trek fan show and a behind-the-scenes aftershow, each week Sam is joined by the Shield of Tomorrow cast (and possibly special guests). They take your questions, discuss and debate all things Trek, and explore Shield of Tomorrow episodes and interesting story points that came up while playing.

USS Sally Ride

The USS Sally Ride is an Intrepid-class starship of Federation design, entering service in 2371. The Intrepid-class is designed for long-term exploration missions. At less than half the size of a Galaxy-class starship (such as the USS Enterpise), it is considered "quick and smart."

The USS Sally Ride is commanded by Captain Rafael Martinez.
